Cold pressed from the seeds of the Oleifera flower species (Camellia plant genus) which grows in China and Japan - Camellia Oil is rich in Vitamins A, B and E, various antioxidants and is known for its moisturising efficacy among skin and hair care specialists. It may also protect against UV Rays.

Camellia Oil also contains Oleic Acid (monusaturated fatty acid) and is rich in Omega 6 essential fatty acids, which may be why the use of Camellia Oil in culinary circles is becoming more common; Camellia Oil promotes lowered cholesterol making it an attractive alternative to conventional oils.
