From a fine single origin cacao, this bar has attractive earth, toffee and stone scents on the nose; a creamy mouth feel for a dark bar, with a light and balanced mid-mouth; floral, cherry and coffee flavors, caramel base notes, and nutty cocoa highlights.  This is quite the approachable dark bar.  If you like to lurk in the dark, this is the bar for you. The deep, fruity intensity of Dark Blackout reflects the rainforest from which it hails. Fortaleza sits at the edge of the Ecuadorian coast, where the world’s richest soil and the shade of the forest canopy create an ideal environment for native cacao.

The outside of this wrapper is FSC certified.  Please toss it in the nearest blue bin or recycling can. Please check if your council accepts foil as a recyclable item before discarding.
